“You have not visited Arakko in a while, Ororo of the Storm,” he says, swirling blood-red wine around in his glass. She thinks it funny he comes to her in this form, in this person. A mutant Death for a mutant Goddess.
“It is hard to,” she says. “The circumstances…”
He doesn’t cut her off, she trails off all on her own. He is wearing his mask, but she thinks he might be smiling.
“Well, it seems you will be mine yet.”
She’s ever ready to fight, however.
